Buying a house in the Netherlands, know the market value‼️
If you’re buying a house in the Netherlands, be sure to know the appraised value, also known as market value.Â
- The maximum mortgage on a house is 100% of the market value.
- A mortgage must be based on your income.
For example: You can get a mortgage based on an income of €500.000. The appraised value is €400,000. The maximum mortgage is €400.000.

There are conditions if you want to buy a house in Netherlands and get Mortgage:

Can’t get a mortgage? Request a rejection
Are you going to buy a house and arrange a mortgage on your own? If you don’t get a mortgage, make sure you get a rejection. If you do not do this, you will owe an amount of 10% of the purchase price. This is stated in the purchase agreement.
